LIAG® DMV Pigging System
for low-germ processes and highly viscous, fast hardening media
Process systems cleaned with pigs are becoming increasingly important for hygienic processes. Increased environmental consciousness, costly waste water treatment and product losses, superior hygienic standards and production streamlining are some of the factors speeding adoption of product recovery systems.

Operating procedures
DMV lip pig - reliably tight
The DMV pigging System works with a 2-seal lip pig and are of homogenous hygienic design. They offer excellent cleaning effect and are virtually free of wear. Two dynamic lips form
The pigs are highly flexible and can pass tight radíi (R= 1.5 x D). Dynamic lip pigs are optionally equipped with a magnet for location and control. The action of pressure and counter-pressure forms the seal to the pipe wall, compensating for minor deviations in the pipe geometry, and providing a reliable seal with the pipe wall.
As an option, dynamic lip pigs are equipped with a magnet for location and control. They are FDA-rated and available in silicone in the nominal sizes 1,5" - 4".
